Whether you are a NOMPEL student or a regular exchange /erasmus student, we warmly welcome you to our beautiful city Joensuu! Hopefully you can explore our  amazingly rich student life and Finnish culture. Because you are only here for a short time, we cannot provide you with overalls or all regular student benefits. The event pass costs 20 euros and with the pass, you can join our Legio members only events, including our yearly anniversary party, which is the most distinguished party for students in Finland. The event pass is valid for one year. Without Legio’s membership or the event pass, you cannot join all of our events. From these links you can read more about our events and anniversary party.  You can buy the event pass from our store, here! If you have more questions about our events, the event pass, and overall studying in Joensuu and Legio, contact our coordinator for international students.

You are warmly welcome to all of our events after buying the event pass. Our events are posted in Facebook. In Facebook you should join our group “Legio Ostiensis ry”. There you find the events posted and every event that has both Finnish and English descriptions, are open also for international students. If the event does not have an English description, the language used in the event will be Finnish and thus, might not be suitable for our international students.

If you wish to own overalls and join more international events, you should be in contact with JEIS Joensuu which you can find from Instagram (@jeis_isyy). JEIS is the main association for exchange students in Joensuu.
