Student overalls For NoMPEL sTUDENTS

After a hopefully eventful and unforgettable autumn in Sweden. We would like to warmly welcome to Joensuu! We hope you will have an awesome spring here in Finland. Hopefully you can explore our winter wonderland and amazingly rich student life maybe as a member of our student organisation Legio Ostiensis.

Legio Ostiensis ry or more commonly known as Legio is the University of Eastern Finland’s Law School’s student association for those who are studying the Bachelor of Administrative Sciences and Master of Administrative Sciences, The Joint Nordic Master Programme in Environmental Law or Master’s Degree Programme in Environmental Policy and Law. A student association’s purpose is to bring together the students studying the same branch of science. Legio looks after its members’ rights, organises excourses for future work places and a lot more different events from the sitsz parties to sports testings. Also, being a member of Legio you have the privilege to order and wear the wine red Legio overalls.

Overalls makes the Finnish student life special. We normally wear our overalls in every student events and it is a funny way to spot our fellow students but also students from other fields. Traditionally we sew patches, memories of student events, and other accessories to the overalls. If you want to get yourself a pair, follow us on social media.
