Student advocacy

Hello Legio members! I'm Suvi Miettinen and I'm serving as the student advocacy coordinator on Legio's board during the 2026 term. My most important duty is to look after the rights of Legio members. If you encounter any problems, think of an improvement suggestion, or wish to provide feedback, please contact me with a low threshold. I assist and pass information on to the appropriate parties. One of the student association's most vital tasks is the student advocacy of its members. The board's advocacy coordinator works in close cooperation with UEF Law School and the Language Centre. Legio influences, among other things, the planning of examination schedules, and this year I am also participating in the Education Development Committee of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Business Studies. You can also provide feedback to the advocacy coordinator regarding individual courses or disciplines.
